Art Morrison, Associate Broker & Co-Owner EMail: art-doublestarrealty@comcast.net Phone: 505-238-5883 |

"Art has worked for the U.S. Forest Service since 1967 throughout the U.S. He was a smoke jumper for nine seasons; starting summers in college at Penn State and beyond. He landed his first desk job in Montana, then spent five years in Washington DC. For the last several years, he has been Regional Legislative Affairs Coordinator. Most of his work has involved lands related Federal legislative proposals and law implementation. He still gets called out for large incidents such as the Cerro Grande and Rodeo-Chediski fires, as well as other disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and Rita. His work on these incidents and disasters is as a Type I Public Information Officer on National Incident Management Teams. The Forest Service slogan of "Caring for the Land and Serving People" is actually a close fit for how I see my role in providing real estate services. He has lived in the Albuquerque area for 23 years. He belongs to the Moriarty Rotary Club and is active in community affairs and events. He is a member of the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He enjoys fly fishing, bow hunting, horse camping, wood cutting, the shooting sports and is a real outdoor guy! ; Time with our five daughters and grandson is high on the list too. The Forest Service slogan of "Caring for the Land and Serving the People" is closely aligned with Art's vision of providing real estate services for our clients. Art got his real estate license in 2008 and is excited to help you with your real estate needs." |
